Be sure to visit the tranquil surrounds of the Katherine Hot Springs & enjoy the clear, warm freshwater. Katherine Hot springs are located just 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive from Katherine Motel and are another one of the “must seen” Katherine Northern Territory. These natural springs run for miles and are a popular spot for a quick swim or a relaxing day out. The incredible location is free to the public and require no charge at all to enjoy.
Cutta-Cutta Caves Katherine
Just 20 minutes walk from Katherine Motel, are these incredible natural amazing underground Cutta Cutta Caves, which is among the only tropical limestone cave systems in Australia. You can check out fascinating stalactites of different sizes and shapes that sprout from the ceiling and other crystals that appear like spun sugar while adorning walls. The caves work ideally as a shelter for rare bat species of horseshoe bat and ghost bat. You can find Guided one-hour tours daily.
